Adapt was engaged to align VicRoads' portfolio of customer service centres (45) with the organisation's modernisation initiatives and objectives to improve customer experience.
Creating a plan to ensure long term geographic coverage and cost effective fit for purpose sites. Adapt facilitiated a range of analysis to guide both the location strategy and design standards.
The program of work included deep business engagement, customer analysis, demographic research and transaction advisory.
As part of this process VicRoads established a new purpose built facility in Pakenham, to support the growing population. Adapt facilitiated requirements breifing, catchment analysis, market searches, technical site analysis and negotiations.
As part of SMEC's ongoing support of regional Australia, Adapt was engaged to assist with establishing new long term facilities in both Gippsland and Geelong.
The services provided by Adapt included the end to end market engagement and commercial negotiations, feasibility analysis and project establishement.
In both cases Adapt managed the collaboration process with Landlords to create bespoke facilities including the integrated fitout alongside the complex refurbishment of Federal Mills (Geelong).
V/Line consolidated its multiple corporate operations into a single CBD site. Adapt was initially engaged to provide advice on budget controls and undertake Superintendant resposponsibilities throughout the construction process.
After completing phase 1. Adapt was reengaged to provide Project Management services for the end delivery of design build and relocation.
Despite COVID impacts on construction, both phases were completed on budget and on time.
